✨ StarryInk Turns 9 ✨ Unlocking the StarryInk Lab Archives

Celebrating 9 Years—Thank You for Love & Support!

We are truly grateful for the love and support we’ve received from ink enthusiasts around the world—it fills us with joy and motivation. For nine years, we’ve been dedicated to one mission: bringing new colors to the world. As StarryInk turns 9 this April, we can’t help but reflect on our journey.

Our love for ink and chemistry started in 2012 when we were just middle school students, captivated by the endless possibilities of color. This passion for exploration and creation has never faded.

From the very first day of StarryInk, we have been dedicated to pushing the boundaries of ink colors—whether it’s the playful SODAPOP, the ever-shifting MOODTAIL, whose colors dance with changes in temperature and humidity, or the striking COLDBREW, a 100% plant-concentrated ink that captures the true essence of nature, every new shade is a step in our pursuit of innovation. And from the start, we’ve upheld one commitment: offering custom inks.

The Magic of Custom Inks—Why They Matter to Us

For us, creating ink has always been about exploring new colors and expanding what’s possible. That’s why custom ink has been part of StarryInk since day one—not just as a service, but as a way to experiment, discover, and bring new shades to life.

To celebrate our 9th anniversary, we’re launching a special blog series: StarryInk Lab Archives, where we’ll share some of the custom inks we’ve crafted over the years. With permission from the customers who commissioned them, we’ll be revisiting these unique formulations—some with touching, fun, or unexpected stories behind them. But more importantly, we hope this space becomes a place for ink lovers to connect, share, and discuss their passion.

We’d love for you to join the conversation—comment, interact, and explore the endless possibilities of color with us!

And that’s not all! We’re also working on an exciting new way to play with ink—something truly fun and unique. Stay tuned for the big reveal! 🎉

I have just discovered your inks through Nick Stewart’s website. I love all the above artwork in the squares. It looks very beautiful! How big are each of the squares ?
